As a wedding photographer from Brno and South Moravia, I have been photographing weddings for over 10 years. In that time I have captured more than 200 of them. Most were right here in Brno or nearby, which is why I know most of our wedding venues well.
Thanks to that experience I created the largest catalogue of wedding venues in Brno and the surrounding area. Close to nine thousand views a year go to it, and hundreds of couples have found the right place for their day through it.
I photograph naturally, in a relaxed way, without unnecessary posing. I want the photos to hold what matters most: your emotions, your laughter and above all the bond between you.
Sometimes I feel that time at a wedding runs much faster than usual. All the more I stand by the view that a wedding should be an unforgettable experience.
My wish is for photographing with me to be part of that experience.
I photograph across the whole of the Czech Republic and I am glad to travel to Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Poland or Italy. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately, so you see the full cost before you decide.
Picking the venue is usually the first decision couples get stuck on, especially when you are choosing it from another country and cannot drive out to see six places on a Saturday.
So I wrote down what I know. Seventy-three venues across South Moravia, from vineyard cellars and converted barns to chateau orangeries, with photos I took at many of them and a map you can filter by district.
It is not only about the photos, but also about personality. The photographer spends the whole day with you, and when you get on as people, it really shows in the pictures. Experience, knowledge of the venues and the ability to make great photos in any conditions matter too.
There are several great places right in the centre of Brno. I like Špilberk best, with its many trees, viewpoints, gazebos and quiet corners. Nearby Petrov and the Denis Gardens work beautifully as well, and the light there is easy to work with.
Of course, and I would even recommend it. It is good to check first whether working together makes sense for us. I am happy to have a video call or sit down for a coffee in Hustopeče or Brno.
That is up to you. I like the 2x20 minute concept: 20 minutes in the afternoon and 20 minutes in the evening. I have no problem photographing longer in a single block, or we can do just one shorter block.
Of course. South Moravia is close to my heart, but I regularly photograph in every corner of the country, and I am glad to travel to Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Poland or Italy.
Yes, I speak fluent English and photographing international weddings is a normal part of my work. Everything runs in English, from the first email to the finished gallery.
